Installing apache, php and mysql from source in Linux

Hi,

I was installing and configuring latest apache, php and mysql from source but not using apt or yum utility. I was trying to do it for so many days but obviously I have stucked manytimes while installing. In the end I was able to integrate apache, php and mysql. I want to write a document which will be shared on all open blogs and website for this. Before doing that I want to know more about this, so please share any blog, website which has some details for installing apache, php and mysql/AnyOtherDatabaseEngine from source in Linux.

Thanks in Advance.

Have a look at these (all from BLFS):

-1- MySQL
-2- Apache
-3- PHP

Do install the required and recommended and have a look at the optional dependencies as well. The User Notes might also be of interest. The installation order is important.

I found a great article that will answer most of your questions regarding Apache, MySQL and PHP. This article is in connection with XAMPP and WAMPP. In addition to the three (Apache, MySQL and PHP) you can also learn about SQLLite, Mod-Perl and Zend optimizer.
See article here http://www.techyv.com/article/what-xampp
