Installing anjuta- error linux/limits.h: No such file or directory

I am trying to install anjuta on openSuSe (Linux x86_64). I think I have fixed several errors that have led up to this point by finding solutions on the web. This error has me stumped. A summary of what I have done so far would be install gcc, libgcc, and cpp to fix error messages in the install process. I did this through Yast from the SuSe install cd. I will post what the config.log says now and hope that someone can help.

configure:4135: checking dependency style of gcc
configure:4226: result: gcc3
configure:4246: checking how to run the C preprocessor
configure:4286: gcc -E conftest.c

Lightbulb Problem Solved

Interestingly enough, instead of manually installing the program through the terminal (which resulted in the above error) I realized that I could just try and install it through Yast. When I did this, the error disappeared almost like magic. It seems that I failed to remember my rule for dealing with computer problems, keep it simple stupid. For those who may have the same problem the solution can be found by going to

YAST->Software->Software Management->type anjuta in the search box and mark the appropriate boxes-> install
