Installing Adobe Flash Player with YUM

Hi just installed Fedora 11, going well, and it needs flash player for youtube.

I can't open a terminal, not familiar with Fedora.

It has an installer, but even after a re-start after installing, from adobe's downlaod of oddly 4.3 KB it does not install, it won't be saved to desktop, no option for it.

Nor will it install from the software down loader.

Five attempts.

Using a Dell pentium 4 desktop. Broadband connected. Have a 2004 NVIDA card.

Is YUM better to use than APT GET?

How shall I install youtube, my mum loves it.

Perhaps the Fedora wiki could be of help.

Use this link to download flash player
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

GO to the downloaded location of the file.
( If you are using firefox , then the location can be found in this way edit -> preferences -> main -> save files to )

now using that file you can now install.

if you are using nautilus file manger, then where ever you right click you can get "open terminal" option

Thanks RPM downloaded with a size of 3.9 MB and the package installer opened it after a double click, restart and flash player is going.
