Question Installing a new glibc on Red Hat 9

I want to install on my red hat 9 wine and it said that i need glibc 2.3.2-27.9.7, and i have the version 2.3.2-11.9 and wine doesn't want to work with this.
I download glibc 2.3.6 from the net and is not an rpm, but an archive and i when i extract it i dont't know what to do after.
I've tried with make but tells me that i must first to run configure and when i do this, another error apears to me
Please, give me an advice on installing this new glibc 2.3.6
With respect,
jack_sparrow

Have you checked Fedora Legacy Project? They support Red Hat 9. They may have the packages you need.
