installing 32bit support in fedora 64 bit
i am new to linux. when i try to install the 32-bit support in feora 12 64 bit then the following message appears:

cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: adobe-linux-x86_64. please verify its path and try again

what does it mean and what to do now.

well fedora 12 is obsolete, so that's never a good start...

you don't specifically install 32 bit support, you just happen to install 32 bit packages that are required, there's no switch to flip to do it.

This sounds like you've just got a dead repo in /etc/yum.repos.d/ which needs updating / deleting. For now I'd probably just delete that adobe repo completely.
