Installer options for linux applications

Hi,

Is there any tool to create GUI based installer for applications developed on linux platform using C language?

linux dose NOT use Microsoft style "installers "

as to installing software using a GUI
package-kit or yum-ex or any number of "package managers " will

for Debian based systems convert your source package into a .deb
for Red hat type systems use rpmbuild to convert your code into a rpm file
