Installed KDE GUI in Ubuntu 20.04 /GNOME

This seems a more versatile GUI, with some amazing functionality

Now, to free some space

Can I somehow remove GNOME or, will I get myself into trouble?
If yes, how can I go about it?

Thak you
Alex

Probably best if you save your personal data and re-install.
I hear that KDE Neon is to be prefered over Kubuntu.

I have been through re-installing Ubuntu 6 times... I don't like the idea but understand that on the long run, a clean install will be better.

My main problem now is with "I hear that..." I know that Kubuntu has been around for some time and am concerned about a new-kid on the block... Is there anywhere a comparison from a valid source?

Thank you
Alex

One other question here,
I am after a clean install, no left overs of apps I installed in Ubuntu.
So, how do I go about it?

Thanks again
Alex

Decided to go with it after reading a few things.
Downloaded an ISO, created a bootable USB, ran it, got hundreds of errors and abhorred.

I took the amd64 from GitHub

Any other option?

Thanks
Alex

What? A development version?
Is this about KDE Neon?
https://neon.kde.org/download (obviously you want the User Edition)

This is the one I downloaded. When I run it, it comes up with many questions, all go over my head, so at the end I had to push the power button and abborted the install.

With my original Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, it came immediately to the GUI screen and just asked if I want to install or just to try it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
