installed a program, now where is it?

I've just installed a msn cliend (amsn or something) to use on redhat 9 but now I can't seem to find it, i'm sure it's installed because when i went back to the rpm it says it was already installed, so where is it? .....

Either in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin.
Just type "amsn" from a terminal window

or you can run "find / -name amsn*"
Maybe you will can find it.

If you installed an rpm,

open a terminal,

"rpm -qa | grep amsm" (whatever)

it should give you a list of the suspect package names, so you can take a guess.

then do:

"rpm -ql <package_name>" and it will show all the installed files.

so probly summink like

rpm -ql amsmd
