Hi, i'm currently trying to install zaptel (telephony related drivers and tools) onto Ubuntu with a 2.6.12-10-386 kernel. The problem though is that the installation is failing as it claims it can't find the correct kernel source. Using apt i couldnt find any kernel sources matching 2.6.12-10-386 so I settled for 2.6.12. I got it using apt and unzipped it in /usr/src. The installation still fails with the message
Code:
You do not appear to have the kernel sources for your current kernel installed.
make: *** [linux26] Error 1
when i do a 'make install'
I tried creating a sym-link in /usr/src from kernel-source-2.6.12 to linux-source-2.6.12 but to no avail. Here is an ls of that directory
Code:
root@hawking:/usr/src# ls
asterisk kernel-source-2.6.12 linux-source-2.6.12 rpm
asterisk-sounds libpri linux-source-2.6.12.tar.bz2 zaptel
root@hawking:/usr/src#
If anyone has any ideas i would appreciate the help
