Hello Carmen and welcome!

When you go on line to ask a question it is a good idea to say which Linux distribution you are using, what sort of hardware you have and what you have already tried to do, then somebody who has been more or less down that road can jump in and easily communicate.

Cheers,

Phidor

Hi Carmen,

The "distribution" is the breed of Linux you are using - it could be one of 537 different breeds. For example it could be SUSE (originated in Germany) or Mandriva (originated in France) or whatever. The idea is that if you tell others what sort of Linux you are using and what sort of hardware you have, somebody often pops up with specific info that is very similar to your query and can help you. It is not the same scene in Windows where there is one current version (or perhaps I should say two current versions nowadays since the Vista honeymoon is well over and Windows users to some degree want something more workable and called out for XP back).

Cheers,

Phidor

Has Lexmark started supporting Linux? How could you install software from lexmark.com on a Linux computer?

This, & the fact that you didn't understand what "What distro?" meant, makes it sound like you're still using "Winders(tm)".

What does the button in the lower left corner of your screen look like?
