Install Yeoman Bower Grunt-cli Errors
 

Looks like a pretty good stack. Trying to install from terminal. Errors all over : npm missing write access /usr/lib/node_modules/usr/lib, EACCES errno -13, /usr/lib/node_modules same error.

Advisors say don't use SUDO to install these packages. So I chown on node_modules, and now I get EACCES, symlink '.../lib/node_modules/yo/lob.cli.js' path: '../lib/node_modules/yo/lib/cli.js'

Regarding npm: I used this script and it worked swimmingly. :)

These hiccups led me to discover Linux docs and configs that (its a good thing) add to an already large list of required reading after breaking the Windows habit. My plan is to start from scratch and get hands on with installing software' so they work properly without fixing or patching anything. I'm not going to use the script right now, although it looks like a neat example of scripting, so I won't be able to report on it here. Maybe after the holidays I'll be able to do some vids and toots on Mint 17x architecture, commands, and configs. By that time I should also have these wired up. Thanks a bunch norobro.

I've given up trying to make these work. If they were going to save me time, that idea has lost cred with me. Next, I'm trying to install PHPMyAdmin, and it's giving me errors. MySql is used by Mint to install itself, so that works. PHP was no problem (I think). PHPMyAdmin (after a day of trying) won't let me login. So I get error fix fix fix error fix fix fix. There are 24 errors and 200 fixes. It's confusing, and frustrating. It still don't work. So why? Is It So Difficult To Do what should be the simplest things? The configs that come with it are crud, so copy the ones from another folder (examples) and edit them... What? Totally ridiculous. Maybe I should just dip my monitor into some paper paste and construction paper. It would be just as effective.
