Burn a rescue cd before hand so you can boot up to SuSE again and repair the MBR. Or use the linux root for the linux boot loader and follow the instructions for multibooting using XP's ntldr.exe program to chainboot grub. You can search this site or google for "dualboot boot.ini grub". There is also a HOWTO at the http://www.tldp.org website.
