Install vtiger CRM and Apache as localhost

How do I install vtiger CRM (Requires Apache) and Apache as local only (localhost) that can be made public latter (Static IP)? I have not yet picked a version of Linux to use but will most likely be Debian or Fedora based. I would like to use whatever is easiest to setup. Setting up the distribution isn't a probably just unfamiliar with Apache setup if it could be done through a GUI setup during the distribution install that would be great. Or just a Apache GUI setup or configuration. Mostly use GNOME as my GUI.
