I'm considering installing Red Hat 7 on a computor which has no floppy drive, the system in question will support booting from a cd but will red hat run correctly without a floppy drive during and after the installation?
There's no doubt that the system will run without a floppy. That's no biggy, just sort of a loss. If you can boot from a CD then you should be good for install. Almost every current-ish distro will run the install booting off the CD. After it's done, you won't need the disc to actually run anything. You should be good.
