Install R

I need to install something called R.... apparently for statistical analysis.

If I go here: http://rwiki.sciviews.org/doku.php?i...on:fedora_core it claims that R should be installed with Yum but that's not what I'm finding.

Does anyone know anything about this? I'd rather not download the source and fumble my way through that.

Probably install R with your 'Package Manager', or yum ? :

# yum install R

But that's only for Fedora, CentOS, RHEL, etc.
Which Linux OS are you using ? ? Some OS use different package names.
