Hi all

working with

and having sever problems when installing lmme-0.6.4. I'm getting the following errors when doing sh configure .

[root@rabbit lmme-0.6.4]# sh configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes
checking for working aclocal... missing
checking for working autoconf... missing
checking for working automake... missing
checking for working autoheader... missing
checking for working makeinfo... missing
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no

Here is the config.log

[root@rabbit lmme-0.6.4]# cat config.log
This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

Smells like you don't have the devel packages for your redhat setup. ie: you have no compiler (gcc) or tools for development. Not sure what the exact rpm name you want for redhat, but you'll dind them in the /d or /devel series of packages.
