Install netbean


hello

Room try to install NetBeans IDE 8.1 on redhat box i ran into problem please help also i reset display

export DISPLAY=:0.0

chmod +x netbeans-8.1-linux.sh


[root@test]# ./netbeans-8.1-linux.sh
Configuring the installer...
Searching for JVM on the system...
Extracting installation data...
Running the installer wizard...

Exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError thrown from the UncaughtExceptionHandler in thread "main"

What version of JDK do you have installed? Requirements are listed here.

my java version is 1.8.0_11

[root@test ~]# java -version
java version "1.8.0_11"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_11-b12)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.11-b03, mixed mode)
[root@test~]#

Hi...

I'm not sure if you've already seen this or if it would help but I happened to notice the Java/Netbeans 8.1 bundle here. You may need to uninnstall your current version of Java.
