Install MandrakeLinux Seagate SATA


hello linux pros!

im a linux newbie (guess youve expected it), and is trying to install MandrakeLinux on my system.

Sempron64 2800
ECS A2 Motherboard
1 GB DDR RAM
120GB Seagate (for my Windows XP)
160GB Seagate (for backup and reserved for Linux)

the problem is, i just can't install MandrakeLinux on my system. It can't detect my hard disk.

What should i do to fix this? help!

obviously, i dont think anybody knows how to solve this. been searching around the net for answers.

and i thought Linux was something special...
