Install linux <suse9.1> from hdd help please..

i want to install linux from hdd <sources> but when i do it tells me to give the path and i do example :

"/suse/src/" and this appears "Cannot find the image check the directory specification"

"/dev/suse/src/" "cannot mount..."

i need some help please
