Install HP P1102W Printer on Ubuntu
I am trying to install a P1102W on Ubuntu 16.04. I have the latest version of HPLIP installed. I ran hp-setup, which found the printer. I proceeded to install the printer, and it wanted to download hp-plugin, which I allowed. It downloaded the file, then gave me the error message "File does not match its checksum", at which point the installation terminated. Did I do something wrong, or is HP's file bad?

See if running 'hp-plugin' in interactive mode helps with this. Open a terminal and do
Code:
sudo hp-plugin -i https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/1449964 |
I can now print to the HP P1102W! Thank you very much.

Glad to have been of assistance with this. :)
