Question Install GCC compiler on Mandrake 9.2

I have Mandrake 9.2 installed, but I don't find the gcc compiler or any other development utilities for programming.

Can I upgrade my installation to include development utilities or do I have to erase the existing set up and install all over again.

If yes, kindly briefly explain how can I.( Linux)

I bet Mandrake comes with gcc and the other development tools. To
find out, login to a console as root and enter <which gcc>; it should come
back with the path to gcc or empty if it is not installed. If it's not, start
the setup tool (I'm sure there is one, but I don't know what's the name
as I'm using SuSE). Go to the "Install software->Development" section, there you'll find what you need. And remember: If all else fails, read the manual ;-)
