Install Flash Player 10 on Slack 12.2

Hey,
i'm new in here.
I want to install the Flash Player 10. I download and extract it now it's in root. I try to install on Terminal but it doesn't work
First: I write dir for looking and i find it
Then I copy and paste it to install an their was written that i need tgz not tar.gz

What should i do?

P.S. Sorry for my bad English

You have to copy libflashplayer.so from the extracted archive into the firefox plugins directory. More likely it's /usr/lib/firefox-3.0.X/plugins/ (where X is the firefox version)
