Install evolution-1.4.0-2.i386.rpm on RedHat9 dependency issues?

Hi.
I tried to install evolution-1.4.0-2.i386.rpm on RedHat 9. Could not wait for it...
After checking for package dependencies it came back with a list:
gnome-pilot => 2.06
gnome-spell => 1.02
libgal-2.0.so.3
libgpilotd.so.2
libgpilotcm.so.2
libgpilotconduit.so.2
libgtkhtml
libsoup.1.99.23
libsoup-2.0.so.0
Phew.
OK, I searched for these and have downloaded from various locations, including RawHide directory on ftp.redhat.com and rpmfind.net
Some installed OK, you can scratch libsoup* off the list. But others, such as gnome-pilot, the progress bar began (I am using the gui, not bash), and then disappeared. What the?
Anyway, 2 questions.
1. I seem to have downloaded these packages from all over the place... does anybody know the official site for these rpm packages?
2. Should I have used the command line perhaps? What is the command?
And a 3rd: Location of log files, if any, to troubleshoot the phantom rpm installation?
Thanks.

RH 9 cd's contain evo and all deps. Go to packages and install via cd.

Also, check out Ximian's RedCarpet utility. It will automatically install the needed packages.

Be careful with it though. It sometimes downgrades you if you're using brand new packages.
