could not uncompress second stage ramdisk

Not enough RAM maybe?

It'd help if you told us more about what kind of computer you're installing on (what CPU, how much RAM, etc.), what distribution (RedHat, Mandrake, Slackware etc.), what installation method (floppy, CD, ftp, etc.)

I have a pc 200 mother board with amd 1400+ processor and 256 mb of ram and trying to install through CD
