Install a LiveCD inside vmware

Hi, I have the vmware player on ubuntu 6.06 and am able to run the ubuntu livecd inside vmware, but I want to actually install it. Is that possible or do I need to get a standard vmware version of ubuntu? I am able to boot the livecd with a vmware livecd booter, but I would like to just click the "install" icon and have it just install. Is this possible?

Thanks.

Provided you've set VMWare up with a standard vmware disk image (.vmdk) you should be able to install to that disk image with no problem.
