insmod: error inserting 'usbip.ko': -1 Invalid module format


i m insmoding my modules compiled with linux 2.6.15 kernel which shows
insmod: error inserting 'usbip.ko': -1 Invalid module format

Please help me .

perhaps it hasn't been compiled for the 2.6.15 kernel you have running ... this often happens where the proper kernel source is not installed or is not used (like when several kernels are installed?)

More information would help.
Check dmesg for more comments about what is happening with this module.
Try using modprobe -v to insert the module instead.
