Inkscape in overdrive
Yesterday, when using Inkscape, things started to get very slow. I got so fed up I shut Inkscape down. Later, when I went back to my laptop, I heard the fan working hard. I started System Monitor and saw that the cpus were on overdrive, working at nearly 100%, although I was not doing anything.
How can I identify the process which is causing the cpus to work so hard?
How is it possible that Inkscape could cause this even after it is shutdown?
