INK Save ... where is this option?

I have a problem: I installed my inject bw/printer on my Knoppix. Then I searched for some fine-tuning, and found the 'Ink Saving' option (not sure about the precise words used there...forgot!) and clicked it on.
Now the problem is that all the printed paper is so pale, that I even can't see good the letters printed on (cynical joke: well this option works 100% well).
And I cannot find the place where I changed this!!! stupid, I know, I should have noted that somewhere...

Please help!
