Question info on powertweak

I'm looking for info on using powertweak to optimize my computer. I've found only one useful bit here so far. While somewhat useful, it was for the most part vague on the performance parameters of Linux. I was wondering what you people have.

Desktop Cray Emulation

I just saw this and thought it was neat. It may be off the mark for this question- but if your desktop pc can emulate a cray computer, you won't have to worry about performance.
