Info about kexec

Hi all,
i'm new in this forum. I hope that my question is in the right section.

I'm having some problem with kexec. If I run it with the following syntax:

$ kexec -l /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.13 --append="root=/dev/hda6" --initrd=/boot/initrd-2.6.13.gz
$ kexec -e

when the system reboots my filesystem is not clean.
This appens with both reiserfs and ext3 filesystem loaded as module.

Have you any suggestion?
Thank you very much for your help

Bye Bye
