Infinite number of smplayers window appears


i am using Fedora core 9, recently i have installed latest version of smplayer , i can execute this smplayer but the problem is when i tried to play video file it says check path in preference, when i checked path it is /usr/bin/. I tried complete address like /usr/bin/smplayer, then i clicked any thing in smplayer window new smplayers is opening unlimitedly, infinite number of smplayer.

please help me to play video file

That is odd. First update smplayer

#su
#yum update
#yum --help

If problem persists, file a bug report at Red Hat Bugzilla
