In KDE 3.4, Can one hide a program from taskbar.

I was wondering if there is an option that can be added to the command to start an app so it will not show up on the taskbar. Gkrellm has an option in its configuration settings. Just wondering how it is done. I have a few apps I always start and just don't need them in the taskbar for everyday use.

Thanks for any help

Click on an icon in the panel, then select Panel Menu, then select Configure Panel. When the dialogue box comes up, in the left pane, click on Taskbar, and de-select Show Application Icons. At the bottom of the dialogue box, click on Apply, then OK.

Thanks for the reply but is not what I am after. I want to not show the entire box of a open application in the taskbar. I just want to not show certain programs from showing up on the taskbar. Mostly to the clear the clutter of all the open programs.

Thanks again for your time.
