Question Importing old Gnome 2.2.2 menu into Ximian Desktop 2

Hello,

I'm running Suse 9.0 and recently installed Ximian Desktop 2. Under the (suse) original Gnome 2.2.2 my menu was full of the default Suse apps and games. XD2 however has a small section from my old menu but by no means all or even most of it. My question is this: Is there a (hopefully simple) way of importing my old menu from Gnome 2.2.2 into XD2? Is it locked away in some hidden .conf file somewhere? Or is it lost forever? Should I have backed it up before installing XD2? Any help would be appreciated.
