Yes,
I did this:
1. Installed thunderbird on my xp box
2. Imported outlook address book into thunderbird.
3. Saved thunderbird address book in the default file fomat (ldif)
4. Put addresses on usb or shared partition
5. Went to linux and imported saved ldif file into evolution
It worked quite well, there were a few errors but less work than retyping all the addresses
