Import Outlook.ics calendar into Kmail2 not shown

At work I have to use Outlook and its calendar. I can't access the mail-server via network but I can save the calendar on a USB-stick as an .ics-file.

Kmail2 on tumbleweed imports the file but shows no items in ist own calendar, regardlessly whether the .ics gets merged or creates a new calendar. I even imported it on a console, still no joy. The new .ics-file sits right along the side of kmail's std.ics at ~/.kde4/share/apps/korganizer/outlook.ics.

Any ideas how to make the Content visible? I googled for days on end with no workable results ... thanks in advance .
