Talking import mozilla bookmark from redhat to IE

i use mozilla's bookmark editor to edit my bookmarks, i then copy the bookmarks.html to a windows 2000 machine and try to import it into IE, it shows that the import is successful, however when i click on some links it points to an invalid or wrong URL... i tried this many times and could never get a clean bookmark-import.

your help is highly appreciated!
