immposible to logon in one user > .XINITRC is empty

After I install yahoo messanger in SUSE 10.0 I can't logon in may user account.

Simptoms > When attempt to logon the screen is going blank and back to the logon screen.

The problem I think it is my .xinitrc file wich is empty, but I do not know how to fix it.

PS > This is my first linux sistem. Please be kind

The yahoo rpm that I installed was for Linux RedHat 9.0

On the assumption you are using KDE, you can create that file like this:

echo "exec startkde" > ~/.xinitrc

Or remove ~/.xinitrc, /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc will be used instead (if that one is not empty).
