"Illegal instruction" while running Omnet++
 

Hello!
I'm running a simulation with Omnet++, with about 400 nodes, and the simulation always stops with the error message "Illegal instruction".
Apart from the specific program I am using, could this be caused by a buffer overflow which overwrote the code section of the process address memory?

Yes it could be! Errors like this are often caused by the program writing in a location beyond arrays limits
