ifconfig - TX errors

I am getting a lot of TX Packets errors when I do an If config eth1,

The Output like this,

Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 52:A4:B4:45:F3:92
inet addr:192.168.153.11 Bcast:192.168.153.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
inet6 addr: fe80::50a4:b4ff:fe45:f392/64 Scope:Link
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:30 errors:4956 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:7916 (7.7 KiB)

So I just want to know What could be reason for Tx packet error in ifconfig?

Thanks in Advance,
Jegadedezz

My interpretation is that, that interface is not working. No Rx bytes at all.

What's the status of your real problem because I see two similar threads started.

Please don't post duplicate threads, if you've self resolved a problem then close the thread which may have become irrelevant.
