Identd server on redhat 9

Hi guys,

I'm looking to run an identd server on my box (Redhat) i'm currently having a bit o' trouble getting it working.

Does anyone know of any good guides for these? ( It's to run several eggdrops on an irc server without my IP being banned for too many clones, to get a "trust" i need to get ident running )

Any help appreiciated.

This is a little off topic but anyway:

You might want to consider switching distribution. Redhat 9 was end of lifed last april. In other words there is no official security patch support for it whatsoever. If you intend to plug your system into the internet, it would be a good idea to avoid Red Hat 9...
