ide2 :probed IRQ14 failed,using default


Hello everybody,
I have successfully installed red-hat8.0 on my PC...after rebooting i get the following and the PC hangs..(nothing proceeds..)

hdg:ST320413A ,ATA DISK DRIVE
ide2 at 0x1f0-0x1f7,0x3f6 on irq14
ide2 : probed IRQ14 failed,using default
ide3 at 0x170-0x177,0x376 on irq15
ide3 : probed IR15 failed,using default
_

I m new to linux and cannot understand what the message conveys.
Is there any solution.
