Iceweasel to appear as Firefox
Is there a way I can make Iceweasel 3.x.x appear as Firefox 3.x.x. I come across some websites that say my browser is un-supported when it is mostly Firefox slightly changed to suit Debian's needs. I know in Windows this would probably be as simple as a registry hack, but I'm not sure how to go about this under Linux. Is it possible? If so, how?

It's very easy:

Type about:config in browser's address bar.

Use filter to find "general.useragent.extra.firefox"

Right-click on "Iceweasel" and choose "modify"

Replace "Iceweasel" with "Firefox"

Thanks for the info!

Some sites just had annoying warning but I've come across some that didn't work at all just cuz of the name of the browser.
