i want to boot windows xp from grub loader and want to delete all linux partitions


i want to boot windows from grub loader and delete linux .Is this possible?or can i keep only /boot partition so that windows boot from grub prompt

i want to boot windows from grub loader and dont want any linux partitions on my machine.Is this possible?or can i keep only /boot partition so that windows boot from grub prompt and delete rest of the linux so that i can get all free space.it is not possible for my system to get windows boot loader hence i want only grub boot loader to load only windows.

It's too soon to be dropping Linux---you have to use it at least one year before going back to Windows.

My first reaction is WHY? All you have to do it boot up the Windows CD--rescue mode--and run "fixmbr" to restore the Windows loader.

Why?

To use GRUB, there must be a partition which contains the config file. If that's where your grub directory is, then everything should work fine.
