I want the null screensaver!

xlock is a fairly simple utility, but "blank screen" is a still little bit too complex a screensaver for me. <grin>

All I want my locker to do is... well, lock. See, I run electricsheep in the root window, so all I want the locker to do is refuse any input until a password is entered. So I want the computer to look 100% normal until the mouse is moved or a key is pressed. Then it would drop to xlock's password prompt.

Any idea of how to do this?

You need to have xscreensaver running. You can change the settings with the ~/.xscreensaver file and I think running xscreensaver itself gives you a graphical settings if you click the button.
