i upgraded redhat 9 kernel but i lost nvidia driver
hi,
i just upgraded my kernel to 2.4.20-20.9, but lost support for the nvidia driver. what do i have to do to resolve this?
do i need to download a new driver, or is there a remedy to this?

Most likely you'll need to download and reinstall the driver, unless you still have the original download and can reconfigure that way.

then say yes when it ask to recompile the source, make sure you have the kernel source installed...

find at redhat's cd named somewhat like *kernel*src*
