i think this would be kind of tricky

i've got this 'homfree home network' stuff that'd i'd like to use. what it does is network two computers together through the phonelines, and it includes pci modems. i was wondering if it would be possible to network my xp pro box with my slack 8.1 box... that way i can get online and upgrade it! i'm not entirely sure how i would go about this. is it even possible?

If you know the poduct name or details of what kind of chips it has, you could google for it. Of course, with product names you're more likely to find specific matches, but if you're not sure, just google for it anyway.

Oh, and the link is to google's linux search.

Sorry that I can't be much more help than this - google should be your best friend!
