I think I need a perl, apache, cgi GOD

I have asked here, I have asked there, I have asked everywhere... Ok, I apologize for doing this, but I am going to place a link to a forum that isn't even an LQ one! My question is there. I cannot type anymore tonight! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if someone could read that entire forum thread (I know it's long) and tell me what is wrong, I would name my first (wait, I already have one), I mean next kid after you! It is important, and I don't think I could explain it better than you would find at

Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!

I saw you asking why this first code runs:
print "Content-type: text/plain\n\n";
foreach $var (sort(keys(%ENV))) {
$val = $ENV{$var};
$val =~ s|\n|\\n|g;
$val =~ s|"|\\"|g;
print "${var}=\"${val}\"\n";
But this doesn't

print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
$message = "Hello World!";
print $message;

Try replacing text/html with text/plain in the second code snippet.
