I suddenly lost sound in Wolfenstien ET

Hey guys... I was on teamspeak today when someone challenged me to a match of ET. so i opened up ET via a desktop icon. for the first time, the game took forever to load (like 2 minutes) and when it finally comes up, there is no sound in the menus or in game. i have restarted, played around with audio settings etc. im running:

SuSE 9.0 pro
ATI Radeon 9800 pro
SB audigy sound card

Hmm... it appears that when TeamSpeak is running, i lose all my ET sound. does anyone know how to fix this?

I would personally try the command:

echo "et.x86 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss

then see what happens, can you get me a link for that TeamSpeak program that you are running?

Also is there an XFire Linux equivialent? I would love to know for playing a lan in Wolfenstien.
