Question I should install gcc-4.1.2 to Centos 7.0

Hi,

I should install very old gcc 4.1.2 with the standard gcc builder of Centos 7.0. Please let me know what is the best way to do this...

1. Should I compile it from sources, I tried it but it was a bit tricky.

2. Are there ready .rpm's for Centos 7.0?

3. Should I install some compatibility libraries and where to find them? The compatibility libraries which are ready for Centos 7.0 are for the gcc44 only.

All help highly valued and thanks in advance.

No gcc-4.1.2 since Fedora 8.

CentOS 7 / RHEL 7 : Based on Fedora 18, 19, 20 ?

The default "style gcc 4.1.2" has been gcc-3.4.6 for years :
'compat-gcc-34-c++' , but it's so far missing from CentOS 7 .

Packages for CentOS 7 :
gcc34-3.4.6-20.SL7.x86_64.rpm https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing
gcc34-c++-3.4.6-20.SL7.x86_64.rpm https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing

Add 3. : gcc-3.4.6 ... gcc-4.1.2 have no dependencies.
