# 34 .

gcc-4.3 / g++-3.4 worked OK with ns2 for a short while three years ago.

! Now you will have to use gcc / g++ version 4.1.2 !

? Which OS are you using ? Name and version, please.
And show the reply from the command $ uname -m <Enter>

# 37 .

Looks OK. My `leach.out' is 8.3 MB and has 95,114 lines.

Pegasis : The "out file" is `pegasis.out'.

* Choosing one of the three options = leach, leach_c, pegasis :
* The settings are done in "ns-2.34/leach_test", line 5. Default is : alg=leach
* You'd simple select pegasis by editing to : alg=pegasis
... and then also some more edits : See #289 ↓ ↓

"exidus" is the name of the LQ member, who made the "patch package" exididus-pegasis..
, see post #289 here http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...68/page20.html
""Manual how to use modified LEACH,LEACH-C and PEGASIS
1. In folder mit/uAMPS are files ns-leach_2.tcl and ns-bsapp_2.tcl
2. You have to rename file to ns-leach_2 to ns-leach.tcl and you can simulate modified protocol LEACH
3. You have to rename file to ns-bsapp_2.tcl to ns-bsapp.tcl and you can simulate modified protocol LEACH-C
4. You have to use option alg=pegasis in leach_test. Option num_clusters MUST BE 1 like this: num_clusters=1. Only if you want to simulate PEGASIS of course ...... ""
